Terms & Conditions

These Terms govern use of the ALTRIOM TECH website and establish general conditions for inquiries, proposals, equipment, installation, integration, configuration, support, and related technology services in Cancún and the Riviera Maya.

Effective date: August 10, 2026 · Last updated: October 8, 2026

Information about how ALTRIOM TECH collects, uses, shares, protects, and retains personal data is available in our Privacy Notice.

1. Scope, Provider and Acceptance

For services contracted in Mexico, “ALTRIOM TECH,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to ALTRIOM TECH, S.A.S. “Client,” “you,” and “your” refer to the person or organization using the website, requesting information, approving a proposal, purchasing equipment, or receiving services.

ALTRIOM TECH is a technology systems installer and integrator. It is not a private security company and does not provide security guards, surveillance personnel, custody, central-station alarm monitoring, emergency dispatch, police response, or emergency-response services.

ALTRIOM TECH LLC is a separately registered entity in Florida, United States. It is legally distinct from ALTRIOM TECH, S.A.S. and is not a party to a Mexican transaction unless the applicable proposal, order, invoice, or service agreement expressly identifies ALTRIOM TECH LLC as the contracting provider. The contracting document controls which entity supplies and invoices each project.

By using this website, you agree to the website-use provisions of these Terms. A project, sale, installation, subscription, or support service is formed only through an accepted written proposal, order, service agreement, or other valid confirmation. If a project document conflicts with these general Terms, the signed or accepted project document controls for that project, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

You confirm that you have legal capacity and, when acting for an organization, authority to bind it. These Terms do not limit rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

2. Website Use and Information

Website content is general information and may be updated without notice. Images, diagrams, packages, performance examples, availability, brands, integrations, and estimated results are illustrative unless expressly included in an accepted proposal.

  • Do not misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, scrape protected content, impersonate another person, or use the site unlawfully.
  • Links, embedded services, maps, scheduling tools, payment processors, manufacturer pages, and other third-party resources are governed by their own terms and privacy practices.
  • A website inquiry, chat, message, call, or preliminary conversation is not a final technical design, site assessment, price commitment, emergency request, or service dispatch.

3. Assessments, Proposals, Scope and Changes

Final scope and pricing may require plans, photographs, an on-site assessment, testing, or access to existing systems. Each proposal should identify included equipment, quantities, labor, configuration, assumptions, exclusions, deliverables, schedule conditions, warranty terms, and any recurring or third-party fees.

Only written approvals from authorized representatives modify scope. Additional work may require a change order, revised price, deposit, and schedule. Concealed conditions—including inaccessible pathways, damaged or undocumented wiring, blocked conduits, hazardous materials, inadequate power, structural restrictions, water intrusion, interference, provider limitations, or third-party faults—may require redesign or additional work.

Timelines are good-faith estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing. They may change due to approvals, site readiness, client decisions, product availability, weather, utilities, internet providers, building management, other trades, safety conditions, or force majeure.

4. Prices, Taxes, Payments, Cancellations and Returns

  • Prices, currency, IVA, invoicing requirements, deposits, milestones, balances, financing, recurring charges, and payment methods will be stated in the applicable proposal or order.
  • A deposit may authorize procurement and scheduling. Ownership of supplied equipment transfers only as stated in the applicable project document and after required payment, without affecting mandatory consumer protections.
  • Late or unpaid amounts may lead to lawful suspension of non-emergency work or support after applicable notice. Collection costs or interest apply only when expressly agreed and legally permitted.
  • Cancellations, postponements, refunds, restocking, special-order items, custom programming, activated licenses, completed labor, and nonreturnable products are handled under the accepted project document and applicable law. No provision eliminates a mandatory cancellation, refund, warranty, or consumer right.
  • Any automatic recurring charge requires clear disclosure and the client’s express, informed consent. Cancellation must be available through an accessible mechanism consistent with applicable law.

5. Client Responsibilities, Access and Compliance

The client must provide accurate information, authorized decisions, safe and timely site access, suitable power and connectivity, credentials or permissions needed for approved work, and coordination with owners, tenants, condominium administration, security, architects, contractors, utilities, and other trades.

  • Obtain owner, condominium, landlord, architectural, provider, or similar permissions unless our written scope assigns them to us.
  • Identify known hazards, protected finishes, concealed utilities, restricted areas, special operating rules, and required work windows.
  • Maintain required backups and authorize planned downtime before work on existing systems.
  • Use installed systems lawfully and follow operating, maintenance, cybersecurity, life-safety, and manufacturer instructions.
  • Do not request work that bypasses safety controls, violates privacy, intercepts communications unlawfully, defeats licensing, or creates unauthorized access.

Permits, professional designs, certifications, inspections, and code-compliance responsibilities apply only when expressly included in writing. We may pause work where conditions are unsafe, unlawful, materially different from disclosed conditions, or outside the approved scope.

6. System-Specific Conditions

Networks, Business WiFi, Structured Cabling and IT

Performance depends on service-provider capacity, spectrum conditions, construction materials, device capability, user density, configuration, power, cabling, upstream services, and third-party platforms. Coverage or speed is not guaranteed unless measurable acceptance criteria are written into the proposal. Security reduces risk but cannot guarantee that a network, device, account, backup, or cloud service will never fail or be compromised.

Security Cameras and Video

ALTRIOM TECH installs and integrates camera systems; it does not watch live feeds, conduct surveillance, provide guards, investigate events, or respond to incidents. The client is responsible for lawful camera placement and use, notices or signage, access permissions, retention decisions, workplace or guest policies, and any disclosure of recordings. Cameras must not be used where privacy is reasonably expected or for unlawful surveillance. Audio recording, facial recognition, analytics, license-plate capture, or biometric functions require separate legal and privacy review before activation.

Alarm Systems — Installation and Integration Only

ALTRIOM TECH installs, configures, tests, and integrates alarm equipment only within the written scope. It does not provide central-station monitoring, security personnel, custody, emergency dispatch, police notification, guard response, or emergency response. If the client independently contracts a licensed third-party monitoring provider, that relationship is separate and governed by the provider’s terms, availability, permits, communications paths, and response procedures. No alarm system guarantees prevention, detection, notification, intervention, recovery, or avoidance of injury or loss.

Access Control, Gates and Life Safety

ALTRIOM TECH installs and integrates access-control equipment but does not provide security personnel, access supervision, identity verification, or incident response. Access systems must preserve applicable emergency egress, fire/life-safety interfaces, accessibility, and authorized mechanical override requirements. Credentials and permissions must be administered responsibly. ALTRIOM TECH will not knowingly disable required safety functions or provide unauthorized entry.

Audio, Video, Home Theater and TV Mounting

Final placement, structural support, electrical supply, ventilation, signal paths, acoustics, viewing conditions, content rights, streaming services, mounting surfaces, concealed utilities, and manufacturer limitations affect the result. Cosmetic restoration, electrical work, structural reinforcement, cabinetry, painting, and content subscriptions are excluded unless specifically listed.

VoIP and Cloud Communications

VoIP may depend on internet access, electrical power, compatible networks, provider accounts, number portability, licenses, geographic configuration, and third-party cloud availability. Emergency calling, caller-location information, directory listings, recording, retention, and lawful consent must be confirmed for the selected provider and use case. VoIP must not be treated as the sole emergency communication method unless the approved design expressly provides appropriate continuity measures.

Third-Party Services, Accounts and Subscriptions

Cloud platforms, third-party alarm monitoring, internet, cellular service, streaming, software, licenses, domains, and manufacturer accounts may be contracted directly by the client with independent providers and remain subject to their prices, availability, policies, data practices, and terms. ALTRIOM TECH is not the monitoring or emergency-response provider and does not control a third party’s receipt of signals or response. Account ownership, administrator access, renewal responsibility, and credential handoff should be documented in the project scope.

7. Warranties, Support and Limitation of Liability

Workmanship warranty, support period, response targets, and maintenance services apply only as stated in the accepted project document. Manufacturer warranties are provided by the manufacturer and may require registration, proof of purchase, authorized handling, or return procedures.

Warranty or free remediation may not cover misuse, unauthorized changes, accidents, vandalism, pests, corrosion, humidity, lightning, surges, unstable power, water, construction damage, third-party work, provider outages, obsolete products, unsupported software, credential loss, or failure to follow maintenance instructions—except to the extent applicable law requires otherwise.

No technology system is fail-safe. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential losses that were not reasonably foreseeable or expressly assumed in writing. Any agreed monetary cap will be stated in the applicable project agreement. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability arising from fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence where legally applicable, personal injury, or mandatory consumer rights.

The client is responsible for appropriate insurance, backups, emergency procedures, alternative communications, physical keys or overrides, and business-continuity measures proportionate to the property and risk.

8. Privacy, Personal Data, Cybersecurity and Intellectual Property

Personal data collected through this website or during service delivery is handled according to the ALTRIOM TECH Privacy Notice. The Privacy Notice—not these Terms—identifies the responsible party, purposes, transfers, applicable choices, and mechanisms for exercising data-protection rights.

The client must not provide personal data, recordings, credentials, network access, employee or guest information, or biometric data unless authorized and necessary for the approved work. Each party must use reasonable safeguards and promptly report suspected unauthorized access relevant to the project.

ALTRIOM TECH retains rights in its pre-existing methods, templates, know-how, website content, branding, and reusable materials. The client retains rights in its content, plans, logos, and data. Project-specific documentation, configurations, code, drawings, passwords, and licenses are delivered or licensed only as stated in the accepted project document and subject to third-party rights.

9. Consumer Rights, Governing Law and Disputes

For services contracted with ALTRIOM TECH, S.A.S. in Mexico, these Terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States and, where legally applicable, the laws and competent courts of Quintana Roo. Services offered by ALTRIOM TECH LLC in the United States will require a separate written proposal or agreement identifying that provider and the applicable contractual terms and jurisdiction. Nothing in this paragraph deprives a consumer of mandatory protections, competent consumer authorities, or any forum that applicable law makes available.

Before formal proceedings, the parties should attempt in good faith to resolve the matter through the contact information below, without delaying or limiting any legal deadline or mandatory right. Consumers may also seek guidance or procedures available through the Procuraduría Federal del Consumidor (PROFECO).

If any provision is invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited only as necessary and the remaining provisions will continue in effect. Failure to enforce a provision once is not a permanent waiver. Any indemnity or responsibility assigned to the client applies only to the extent permitted by law and does not cover ALTRIOM TECH’s own unlawful conduct.

We may update these website Terms prospectively by publishing a revised date. Material changes do not retroactively modify an already accepted project agreement unless both parties validly agree or applicable law requires the change.
